Treating everyone well is at the heart of what we do. Children learn best when they are in a place where they feel seen, heard and cared for. We find joy in seeing children thrive.

We’re a small school with a big heart. Our Olderfleet family is open to everyone, and every member of our school is valued. We are supportive, and we work together for the good of everyone.

We aren’t afraid to try new things, to innovate and lead the way in doing better.  We anchor our approach in research and experience. When it comes to trying new things or encouraging the kids to try something new we say., ”Why not?”.

As educators we always keep an eye on our impact to ensure our school family has the best outcomes. As a community, we want our kids and grown-ups to take a moment to consider the impact of our words and actions. 

We don’t want our kids or team to ever settle and coast. We encourage our children to set their own goals, reflect on their learning and take risks. We don’t want any child to think learning is either effortless or impossible.

We are committed to being attuned to the unique needs of every child, in every class, every day. Life is ever changing and we understand that means we need to meet children where they’re at in the moment.
