Everyone came back safely. Mrs Carlisle (Music) and Mrs Barr joined the staff as part-time teachers.
The photographer came to see Primary 1.
Some of our P2 pupils went with Mrs Andrews to plant bulbs at Inver House. They brought back a huge bag of bulbs which the rest of the class planted in the grounds.
We were very sorry to hear that Fernie had died during the month.

The Hallowe’en Walk
P6 & P7 walked 10 miles in Ballyboley Forest on October 29th. It was a glorious day. We raised £833.93 for the City of Belfast Lifeboat and Mrs Duffin came to a special assembly on Nov 15 to receive a cheque.
Christmas Activities
Parties were held on December 13. P1, 2 in the morning : P 3,4 afternoon. At night the seniors held a Tramps’ Disco.
Friday 23rd December
Annual Carol Service – £50 to N.I.C.O.D., £86 to the Hospice.
On Friday evening P7 went to Moyle Hospital to sing carols. We took a small gift to each patient.
January 10th
We all went to see Cinderella at the New Vic in Belfast. Four coaches took us to the matinee performance.
February
Mr Burns took the P2 pupils back to Inver House to see how the daffodils had grown. Our own bulbs should be in flower by Easter.
Mrs Wright has had a baby daughter called Katie.
March 18
Two researchers from London Weekend Television (LWT) came to interview for ‘Child’s Play’ David Monteith, Julie Hart and Maeve and Patricia Blair were chosen to be filmed and interviewed.
One of the visitors had been a pupil at Olderfleet 25 years ago when she was Thelma Pickles.
