We have had a busy and exciting October in Primary 3, with lots of learning, creativity and hands-on fun before our half-term break!
In Literacy, we have been learning all about common and proper nouns, discovering the difference between everyday naming words and the special names we give to people, places and things.
In Numeracy, we have been exploring money! We have been learning to recognise all the different coins and using our skills to practise spending money. We have also been touching on shapes, looking at their properties and spotting them around us.
Our Space topic has been keeping us busy as we have taken our learning beyond the classroom! We have enjoyed drawing like astronauts, lying under the tables to colour in and create our own space-inspired pictures. We have also been busy building rockets using magnetic blocks and making paper aeroplanes, which we folded ourselves before sending them off on their flights!
To finish off a lovely month, we enjoyed a Halloween dress-up day before the half-term holidays began. There were lots of fantastic costumes and plenty of Halloween excitement to get us into the spooky spirit!
It has been a wonderful October filled with learning, imagination and fun. We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved half-term break, and we look forward to another busy month of adventures in Primary 3!
