Year 2/3 have been learning all about the topic of Houses and Homes. We have been looking at the work of the artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser. He made paintings and designed houses using spirals, domes, lines and circles. We copied some Hundertwasser patterns and will be doing our own Hundertwasser designs very soon.
We took part in group work in the Construction Area where we built a house, had a Dolls House in the Small World Area, a Home Role Play, and made furniture for houses out of playdough. Great learning from everyone!
