Year 2 had a fantastic day. We walked over to Olderfleet Castle with our Year 6 buddies. We read a plaque about Edward Bruce and found out that he landed at multiple points around Larne Lough in 1315. We explore the ruins and found lots of interesting passages in and out of the remains of the castle.
On our way back we stopped in the Curran Park. We played in the park and ad lots of fun. We even collected some twigs that we will use to build a house of sticks for the Three Little Pigs during Play Based Learning.
