Year Five have been conducting a number of science investigations based on their topic of 'Water'.
Firstly, they created rainwater catchers from recycled materials, monitored the amount of rain caught by each and assessed how well the different materials worked. Then, they created water filters to investigate how water gets filtered naturally to emphasize the importance of clean water. Finally, they investigated the density of water through the observation of water being mixed with oil, diesel and soap.
