Sparks were flying for Years 4 and 5 at Forest School today! The session was dedicated to the rewarding and challenging outdoor skill of fire lighting. We covered the important elements of the fire triangle and vital fire safety guidelines before pupils focused their efforts on mastering the use of flint and steel. It was a massive success, with everyone getting a turn, demonstrating great focus and perseverance, and celebrating their achievement with a sweet marshmallow.
