Y7 accompanied Y1 to Larne Lifeboat Station on Thursday 14 March in their role as Buddies. Y1 were very knowledgeable about how to keep safe while at the beach. We heard all about the lifeboats in Larne and saw the gear the volunteers wear on a rescue. The visit was rounded off by seeing one of the lifeboats and getting to climb into it!
