A Busy and Exciting September in P1!
September is always an exciting time in Foundation Stage as we welcome our newest P1 children into the Olderfleet family!
Our new P1s have settled into school life brilliantly. They have adapted so quickly to their new routines and have taken staying until 2pm completely in their stride. We are so proud of how confidently they have embraced their new school adventure.
Our phonics are well underway, we have started our reading journey.
Through play-based learning, the children are already becoming experts at collaborating, problem-solving, sharing ideas and working together.
And if that wasn't enough excitement for one month, we have already been on TWO trips! We loved our visit to Larne Port and had lots of fun at the Town Park.
What a fantastic start to the year! We can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for our newest members of the Olderfleet family. September, you've set the bar pretty high!
